She Transforms Ordinary Cheeseburgers Into A MOUTHWATERING Treat For Your Next Party!

There are few things in this world that can make me smile like a good cheeseburger. And while I do have my fast food restaurant and greasy diner favourites, I still enjoy making them at home from scratch. Because not only are they delicious (excuse me while I pat myself on the back a little bit), they also only contain ingredients that I get to choose. But here’s an interesting and delicious twist on cheeseburgers courtesy of Kevin and Amanda. [googlead]Known as the Diamond burger, this recipe makes a platter of cheesy and meaty goodness that’s perfect for birthday parties, watching the big game (hellooo Super Bowl party!), and any other occasion with a big crowd.

1. Here’s what you’ll need…

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 cups diced onion
  • 3-4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 (10-oz) can Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles, drained
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 12 dinner rolls

For the glaze…

Heat up a large skillet on high heat. When it’s nice and hot, add the beef and season with salt, pepper, mustard powder, paprika, and cumin. Then add the onions and garlic and stir occasionally. once the beef is browned and the onions are golden, stir in the drained tomatoes until everything is combined. Drain the liquid and set aside.

3. Time to build your burgers!

Place the bottom half of the burger buns along the bottom of the prepared pan (you can also toast them to help prevent them from getting soggy). Top it with the beef and slices of cheese, and then add the top halves of the buns.
