Shows like “America’s Got Talent” and “Britain’s Got Talent” aren’t just meant for Americans or the British. Anyone from all over the world can fly over to the respective countries to audition for a talent show they want to be a part of.
The act from the video below is from the Philippines, and they’re auditioning for “Britain’s Got Talent.” The video begins with three women walking out on stage as “Run The World” by Beyoncé plays in the back.
They wave to the audience as they cheer. Simon greets them and asks them who they are. They reveal their name is Miss Tres. They say that they want to be like Destiny’s Child and Spice Girls, earning them some cheers from the crowd and even a “Woo!” from one of the judges.
They start off their performance with their backs turned to the judges. Then, one-by-one, they turn around. The song they’re auditioning with is “Sex Bombs” by Tom Jones. What happens next is a bigger plot twist than the one in the last Twilight movie.
The woman in the front opens her mouth to sing, but it’s not a high voice that you would expect. It’s a deep voice that comes pouring out! Simon’s eyes widen, mouths drop, and judge David Williams laughs at the unexpected voice.
All three of them are singing with voices that no one would have expected, and the audience is loving it. Once the key change of the song happens, everyone cheers and people get on their feet. When the camera turns toward the judges, they’re on their feet, too. Judge Amanda Holden seems to be having a great time as she claps to the beat of the song.
All three of them have amazing voices and seem to be having just as much fun as the audience, which is important. The entire performance just seems like a party that you want to be a part of. Once they’re finished, everyone’s clapping for them on their feet.
Simon asks, “Were you hiding a little secret from us at the beginning?” making everyone laugh.
