Many of us have grown up with the incredibly popular children’s show Mr. Rogers. So it really wasn’t much of a surprise when it was announced that Fred Rogers would be inducted into the TV Hall of Fame in 1999. But the producers had a wonderful surprise for Mr. Rogers. And it was a surprise that is just sooooo Mr. Rogers… back in 1981, Mr. Rogers had a guest on the show named Jeff Erlanger. Jeff was a quadriplegic who used an electric wheelchair.
