The iconic singer Prince has passed away this morning of April 21st, 2016. A statement made by his publicist reads “It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57.” The cause of death is still unknown and currently under investigation. A week prior, Prince was on a plane that made an emergency landing to take him to the hospital, but there is still no evidence to suggest that this incident is connected to his death.
Prince has sold over 100 millions records worldwide, touching people around the globe with his incredible music.
