9 Things Around The House That Should Be Cleaned Every Single Day

When you think of spending a good amount of your time in one place, for example, your home, what is most important to you? Would you have it be comfortable and cozy? Messy with things scattered all over the place? Or, have the house be spotless? For me, it’s the latter.

I like to believe that my house is neat and clean and that everyone feels that way when they come inside for a visit. I’m also a stickler for keeping things in order. So, when my cushions don’t match up the way they should, it bothers me — yes I’m that person. Is it a bad thing? No, but it can definitely get annoying for a lot of people around me.

Although I love to ensure that my living space is tidy, there are some things that I don’t clean every day. It’s not because I don’t want to (although there aren’t enough hours in the day), it has to do more with me thinking that I don’t NEED to clean certain things in the house, all the time.

The video below has really changed my perspective on certain things. There is no such thing as cleaning over-kill, and it only ensures that things are disinfected. It lists nine things that you should clean every day, and a lot of these items didn’t cross my head.

For example, not everyone throws their dish towels in the laundry at the end of the day. But really, we should. We use these for almost everything: cleaning our countertops, drying our hands, and even our dishes. So, it only makes sense to get rid of them from the kitchen and then start with a fresh batch the next day, right?

But dishtowels are just one of the nine items on this list.
