Baby Girl Hears Her Mom’s Voice For The First Time With Hearing Aids

I always love myself a heartwarming, feel-good story. There’s nothing like watching something that puts a smile on your face and makes you believe in the good in the world. A lot of the feel-good videos circulating on on the Internet also consist of children who have suffered from physical disabilities and gotten over them. Although these stories can be bitter-sweet, the ones with a happy ending are definitely worth a watch! We’re going to share one such story with you, through the video below.

Maggie is a little girl who was born with a congenital disability known as microtia and atresia; she doesn’t have an eardrum in her right ear and therefore is hard of hearing. She uses sign language to communicate and even takes speech therapy classes to improve her diction. She’s a true hero.

But, it’s safe to say that miracles do happen and Maggie’s story consists of exactly one of those. The doctors were able to fixate a hearing aid in the girl’s ear, and she can now hear everything just like the rest of us. As heartwarming and uplifting as this moment is, the best is yet to come!

The family records the very first moment that the Maggie hears her mom’s voice for the first time and it’s nothing short of magical and emotional. We bet there are so many emotions running through the entire family’s minds and we’re glad that they were able to catch this moment on camera; it helps everyone feel a part of their big day!
