He Fills Up His Sock With Salt And Heats It Up On A Pan… The Reason? That’s AMAZING!

I remember waking up completely dizzy one day. I though it would pass but the dizziness continued into the next day. It was at that point I finally went to go see my doctor who told me that I had an ear infection. Ear infections can really do a number on us, from horrible pain to impairing our balance. Fortunately, there are numerous ways we can try to treat ear infections but here’s an all-natural to alleviate aches and pains that I’ve never seen before. It’s called the “magic salt sock” and it certainly sounds crazy but given salt’s anti-bacterial properties, it makes sense! Basially, you fill up a plain old white cotton sock with 1.5 cups of coarse sea salt (table salt is too fine and will seep out of your sock). Make sure it’s a plain white sock because coloured socks can end up melting or burning in the next step. Now warm up the sock on medium-low heat in a skillet for 4-6 minutes, flipping the sock every minute and shaking it around so all of the salt is warmed throughout. You want the sock to be very warm but not uncomfortably hot! Finally, place the sock on your ear, making sure it’s behind your jaw. Ta-da! This unusual trick should help provide you with some relief.
