This Video Of Sister Singing To Brother With Down Syndrome Is Tugging At Everyone’s Heartstrings

A sibling is and will always be a special person in your life. Regardless of arguments and differences that are common among siblings, they are the only people who will truly understand and relate to what it was like to grow up in your particular family. You probably shared meal times, toys, and the back seat of the car during road trips. You maybe even shared a bedroom. You fought and cried. As you move on in your life, even if you and your sibling are not incredibly close, you share a bond that can never be replaced.

Leah Kirwan and her little brother Noah are an amazing brother and sister duo. Noah has Down Syndrome and the two are best friends. A physical or mental disability can be difficult and stressful for a family to handle, but it doesn’t appear to be a challenge for Noah and Leah. For 17-year-old Leah, an aspiring musician from Ireland, Noah is not only her closest ally and one of her friends but is her inspiration.

The two performed a cover of the song “Titanium” a while back that went viral, and Leah is back again, this time with an original song. She wrote the song and performed it for her brother and to be honest, it’s one of the sweetest, most inspiring videos that I’ve seen in a long time.

“You are a star to me and everyone in this family, you can live the life you want and be what you want to be.” Noah sings along with his sister, and the adorable duo is a shining example for siblings everywhere.

“Despite your differences and troubles in the path, I’m always here for you just remember that,” she sings.

Please watch the video below, and don’t forget to like and share Leah’s heartwarming performance with your friends and family!
