Ukranian Photographer Infiltrates The Magical Kingdom Of Snails. And It Is Unusually Beautiful.

What do you know about snails? Snails are vegetarians, they prefer dark and damp environments, they can’t hear, they can live 15 to 20 years, and their slime is oh-so important to their survival, letting them move around and providing them with protection. Cool! Now, let’s open up your eyes some more to the wonderful world of snails.

Vyacheslav Mishchenko is a Ukrainian nature photographer, who is supremely skilled at letting us explore the breathtaking worlds of small creatures. His passion for this revealing photography is deeply rooted. “As a child, my father taught me to hunt mushrooms near my home and we would always come across all manner of bugs and creatures … As I got older and my interest in photography grew, I decided I wanted to catch these magical scenes on camera.”
