Woman Promises Her Dog Has Incredible Talent, Then Show Starts And People Scream

If you’ve ever watched a season of Britain’s Got Talent or America’s Got Talent, you know that Simon is a massive fan of dogs. This means, however, that he has high expectations for any person auditioning on either talent show with a dog—or any pet for that matter. As a judge on both shows who’s probably seen hundreds of dog auditions, he has expectations that have to be met to get a vote from him.

In the video down below, on Britain’s Got Talent, a woman named Lucy and her small dog, Trip Hazard, try to do just that—exceed his expectations. As they walk out onto the stage, though, it seems that Trip—the dog’s nickname—already impresses Simon because Simon makes a face that screams, “So adorable!”

Trip is a cross between a Pomeranian and a Maltese, and Lucy, at the time of the audition, had him for a year and a half. Since she works as a dog trainer, in that time, she trained Trip and taught him dance routines. In the interview before their act, Lucy shares that she has to keep in mind that Trip gets tired quickly and that he’s even got a selection of girlfriends and boyfriends!

(Keep an eye out at minute one to see a very adorable trick!)

Let’s talk about the audition! Just as ‘Candyman’ by Christina Aguilera starts playing, Trip does his first trick. Lucy lifts her foot up, and Trip jumps on it while spinning. It’s quite impressive.

Next, he stands on his back paws and does a little dance that makes the audience coo. You’ll see as the video continues that this is his signature move because he does it at least three more times. The next trick makes the audience laugh as he walks backward toward Lucy with his head facing up. We’ve never seen this trick before, and it made us laugh too!

After, he climbs Lucy’s leg, then gets off and spins and dances on his back paws. In between, he jumps through Lucy’s arms, and later, he gives her the most epic high five.

The entire time, the audience is either cooing, laughing, screaming, or clapping. The performance ends epically as Trip leans on Lucy to do a hand-stand.

Not even Simon could contain his smile throughout this adorable, highly-entertaining, and hilarious performance.
