I can understand your brother helping your parents since you said they paid for his school and stuff but he has no obligation to help anyone else. If your mom wants to coddle your sensitive brother and enable his lazy behavior then he should move in with them or learn to stand on his own two feet, it's not your oldest brother (and definitely not his wife's) responsibility to take care of this guy, he's an adult. Your brother being the oldest and being successful doesn't mean he owes any of you guys anything.
