I don't understand why people do this. As a parent your job is to raise a self sufficient human being that can care for themselves. The most incredible thing happens when you raise your kid to be able to care for themselves. They have confindence in themselves; respect for you, and 99% of the time your relationship with them gets better. That's literally your job as a parent and to raise someone who's hopefully caring and respectful of others but is also self sufficient ad has the ability to function and when they have kids of their own are able to raise them to be self sufficient.

The only reason to purposely omit steps in a training process is to show how valuable she is when that person messes up. She wants to be the only one who can do the work properly. She wants the company to realize how much they need her
