OP is a total AH. "she agreed to pay $600 and keep my place clean." MY place. Gf can move out and OP can hire his maid... Since he makes SO much more money. Financial abuse is indicative of other areas of abuse.
Start going with hubs. Be "supportive." I firmly believe hubs is doing all of this instead of processing, and widow is accepting because she feels she needs it. It's not healthy for either of them. Invite her over. Be especially loving with hubs and get to know the woman. Then make an assessment.
Nope. She only reached out because she is supposedly infertile. Get a permanant restraining order or whatever. She'll try something I'm sure.
ETA. Wife/family for not being concerned her husband just randomly threw up for seemingly no reason. Like, decorations don't come before someone's health. OP for not "apologizing" after finding out it was sentimental. He had .2 seconds to grab a container and he chose the least conspicuous. Apologize he didn't realize it wa ssentimental, wash the tub well, and move on. Emotions were probably high anyway since FIL passed recently. But jeez.
