I knew like four different people when I was in college who were blind and they got around campus just fine. One girl who used a cane asked for help crossing the street but it was icy and she was afraid of falling . She had crossed that street plenty of times before with no problem when it wasn't icy .
I had a friend once who's husband would tell her that she wasn't contributing to the household so she would get a job, then he'd complain that she was neglecting the house and kids and make her quit her job. Matter what she did he wasn't happy.
I had a hateful cousin who had two kids from different fathers and one step son. Her sistet had two kids and four step kids . All the kids were adults but some of them were at this gathering. Someone asked her how many kids she had and she said two. Her sistet said what about S and she said step kids don't count. That was a hateful, nasty comment!

I had a similar situation with one of my aunts. I told her not to call me Tess and she kept doing it. Luckily I was never around her much.
