This is what you get when you have a very bad manager and a very selfish and narcissistic employee. Perhap allowing a delay to make you point is fine, but costing the important order just to make your point. You knew the truth and cost the company and many coworkers a lot of wasted time.

The good thing about a free market economy is that when a company is bad and treats its employees poorly, it often fails, especially in the long term. Just like consumers have choices so do employees.
totally agree! but the manager should have corrected the initial idiot request. seriously!
