Inexperienced folks call CMOS the BIOS by accident. CMOS takes 30-60 SECONDS to reset, not 30-60 minutes. It would take 1-2 minutes tops per computer to fix. And it's easier and faster to remove the CMOS jumper than remove the CMOS battery. BIOS is unalterable unless flashed. CMOS is volitile memory that clears if power is removed that tells the processor what information to load from BIOS. Also, you won't lose data on the HDD nor SSD by resetting the CMOS. Trust me! I've done it quite a few times! It's another way to fix some other boot problems too
