I am married. My spouse does not work. When I bought my house, my husband came to see some with me and gave his opinion. But the choice was ultimately mine. His name is not on the deed to the house, nor is it on the mortgage. I pay for it 100%. While this worked fine for us (we discussed it), I understand it may not work for everyone. But you are not even married yet! I see this being trouble, but I wish you the best. NTJ
