AITJ For Asking My Friend For A Break?

Definately NTJ. One of my teenage daughters went through something similar. She took a break and then they tried again to be friends, but ulitmately she decided the other girl wasn’t the kind of friend she needed. They had a long heart to heart talk. About two months later they’re cordial at school but not anywhere near where they were before.
Not a professional here, but it sounds like bipolar disorder. My 16 yo was diagnosed with it last year and her descriptions were so much like yours. Waves of intense depression, a period of calm, super happy, then repeat. Her therapy and meds have helped so much. Please get yourself evaluated and don’t worry about your parents
