YTJ why couldn't your family or his family wait until he got home to visit? You didn't want him there so you didn't let him in. If I was your husband I would be a little worried about staying with you and the decisions you might make if something life threatening ever happened.
WOW you and your wife are the absolute worst! I paid $20 to adopt my cat when he was 5 and when he was 8 I paid $3000 to have surgery and his leg amputated and now he is 11 and a happy healthy 3 legged cat who my son adores. I can't imagine getting an animal and then just meh killing them because they need medical attention that cost a little bit of money. If I was your daughter I would be 100% no contact with you or your wife for the rest of my life. What horrible people! YTJ!!!!!!!
The baby is already 5 months old and hes just now coming in and demanding a name change? Screw that and you're an idiot for agreeing with him!
Honestly there is a simple solution to this....get a watch. There are smart watches for apple and android that will just vibrate on your wrist when you have a call or message and then you can check really fast and see if its important or if it can wait. I wouldn't know what to do without my Apple watch. It is insanely helpful especially in situations where I don't want the sound on my phone.
