File this one under “why didn’t I think of that!?” When it comes to needles I’m a bit of the squeamish type, so when they tell me that they need to do a blood test, I close my eyes and imagine myself in my happy place (it’s kind of like a cross between Hawaii and Australia, and there are also a lot of puppies running around).
