Ah, the beach, what an amazing place. If you live in a city or somewhere generally cold, then you know what I’m talking about. I love skiing and exploring the city as much as the next guy or gal, but there is nothing like going to the beach. It’s a serene place with nothing but white sand under your feet and the sound of the waves coming in and out. I picture myself relaxing under the sun with a light breeze hitting my face and maybe even getting a little tan while I’m at it. That’s the life, isn’t it?
Yes it is. I would travel anywhere in the world, the exotic beaches in Brazil, the fun beaches in Miami, you name it and I’m there. But perhaps there is one beach that I would not go?
There is a very very special beach in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. This is definitely not your normal beach, and you most definitely will not be able to relax. While this beach has incredibly beautiful water, soft sand and sun, it does not exactly have serene water. What am I talking about you may ask yourself.
Well, this beach gets hit by massive waves on a regular basis that would scare you to death! Luckily it has a massive reed that “protects” the beach and hold back these enormous waves that would otherwise be disastrous. In the video you are about to watch you will see exactly what I’m talking about. You will see in second 0:34 as this enormous wave hits the reef to create a breathtaking image.
