People Share The Time They Lost It On A Customer And Got Fired

You never really realize how rude and inconsiderate some people can be until you land your first job. Whether it be working at a fast-food chain restaurant or a high-end salon, you’re bound to come across bad customers at some point in time. As much as some people try to find a job where they can avoid this inconvenience, a majority of jobs require direct socialization and interaction with customers.

So, what’s the next best method to avoid rude customers? Provide top-notch service? Kill them with kindness? Unfortunately, some of the people you communicate with and assist on the job won’t shift their attitude regardless of how well you treat them. Sometimes a customer might be having a bad day, have a short temper, or generally struggle to be friendly.

Just like some of the customers we come in contact with, we’re human too; we feel negative emotions just as much as they do. The main difference between a customer and an employee, however, is that employees are trained and expected to keep emotions like anger and annoyance to themselves, especially when handling tough customers. However, this, of course, doesn’t stop our blood from boiling as we force a fake smile, continue to speak in a sweet tone of voice, and bite our tongue while we’re being treated poorly by a customer.

In reality, we all have breaking points. The second a customer starts acting entitled or starts berating us like crazy, we might get in defense mode and try our absolute best not to lash out in response.

But in these stories, employees do, in fact, lash out, get revenge of some sort, or say something snarky to a rude customer and land themselves in a situation where they get or nearly get fired from their jobs. While the following employees aren’t the best examples of what it means to be professional at work, their experiences are entertaining as heck!

31. He Implied That I Was An Idiot

“Disneyland. I worked in the ticket booths. If you’re an annual pass holder, and you’re on the monthly contract, Disney takes automatic payments from your credit card. If your card expires or otherwise has to be changed, and you don’t call to put a new card on file, the auto-payments stop, and your pass freezes. No big deal; Disney doesn’t hit you with fees or penalties. You simply call or come to the booth, and we handle it right then and there — zippety-doo-dah, and in you go.

One day, I get a middle-aged couple whose passes froze. The man was upset and ready to talk about it. A common question from guests is, ‘Don’t you send out late notices?’ No, Disney doesn’t because they’re not practical, and again, there are no penalties anyway. Just come see us and we’ll straighten you out. The man says to me in a disgusted tone, ‘You don’t send notices when a pass freezes? How does that work?’

I said, ‘Well, you receive your credit card statement, you see that a recurring charge is not present on it, and you can expect the service related to the recurring charge to be interrupted and that it must be related to your card having been replaced recently.’

The wife smiled. The man’s face reddened, and he leaned in and barked, ‘Get your supervisor. I want to talk to somebody smart.’ To my shame, I said, ‘Of course. Would you like someone smart enough to stay aware of their credit card use, or merely smart enough to read contracts they sign?’

My booth lead happened to come over as soon as she heard ‘supervisor,’ so she was standing behind me when I said the emotional thing. It isn’t how I wanted to go out (I was five days away from leaving for a new job), but I looked at it as a vicariously cathartic mic drop goodbye to my fellow cast members. 30. He Hit Me With His Car… Then Yelled At Me Because His Window Broke

Wow, he turned on him quickly.

“Many years ago, I worked at a home improvement store called Menards. I was a cart pusher, which was nice as I was outside all the time. Anyway, we gather about 25-30 shopping carts together and push them up to the entrance where they are stored inside. Now to get them there we do have to cross the main drive of the parking lot in front of the store. We always stop and let customers drive by.

So as I push the carts up, I stop because I see a guy in a pretty nice SUV. He is actually stopped in front of the entrance. Maybe he dropped someone off; I do not know. So I’m waiting to see if he drives off and he then looks at me and waves me across, looks like he wanted to finish a call he had gotten or something. So I wave back and start pushing the carts across.

I am on the other side when someone clips me across the shoulder blades and it stung somewhat and pushed me forward. And at the same time, I heard glass shatter, I turn around and the guy in the SUV clipped me with his side-view mirror. It had swung closed and shattered the window in the door, and I’m just standing there wide-eyed. 2 seconds later the guy gets out of his car swearing up a storm at me and how I’m a low life piece of sh*t and how I’m going to pay for a new window and that I’m not going to get anywhere in life because I broke his window.

Now I’m the type of person that if I was the reason, I’ll take the blame and fix the problem. But this guy hit me. I blew up on him for about 5 minutes before a manager finally had the guts to come over and pull me away. I didn’t have to pay for a new window as it was on video, but I lost my job because we are not supposed to yell and cuss at the customer.” Warmasher

“Fired. Quit It’s a gray area.

I worked in the rewards call center for a casino in my youth. People would call to a book room or show tickets with their reward points. Naturally, everyone calling for a free room wants it on a weekend or major holiday and that just wasn’t available. A lady called to get a free night in the top end suite on Valentine’s Day with two-day notice and lost her sh*t when I told her no. Saying she spends so much money and we don’t even care enough to reward her loyalty and even attacking me personally. I just couldn’t do it anymore.

I calmly explained to her that, ‘I see you spend about $20 an hour in the casino. Yeah, we really don’t care about you. You could never come back and no one would notice. You need to start betting more, then maybe your family will be worth us actually start caring if you come back or not.’

28. I Yelled At The Big Shot Who Had A Contract With My Employer

“I cleaned cars for a rental car company. One day, a customer comes in, already in a very bad mood (for whatever reason). He saw me standing at the counter, and apparently this offended him to the point that he began to yell at me.

Long story short, I yelled back at him. Nothing came of it for over two months, until I was fired without warning. The district manager who fired me said that even though everyone in the company who reviewed all the evidence pertaining to the incident and even though it was decided I was well within my rights as an employee to yell at the dude, they had to fire me because he was some big shot at a company that had a very lucrative contract with my employer and he threatened to drop the contract unless they fired me.” TLCplLogan

27. I Told Her Off For Disrespecting Her Parents

In the end, telling her off was the best decision.

“Many years ago, I worked in clothing retail. I had a favorite customer. He and his wife would come in and he’d put down a small fortune each month on his wife and teen daughter. He reminded me of my dad who I lost to a massive heart attack when I was 18. I was in my early 20’s and my mom had just died of cancer.

This gentleman had stopped coming in for about 2 months. I look up and see him come in with wife and daughter and the girl looks p*ssed. They come to my counter and the girl calls her mother a b*tch and her father a ‘waste of space’ since he lost his job when the mill he worked for closed. She kept berating them and something (the child in me) snapped out.

I told her off. I said that she should appreciate her dad who gave her everything until he couldn’t. That she was 16 and I wasn’t too much older than her when my dad was dead. That the sweet woman, she called a b*tch who went out of her way for her could be gone fast too. That she needed to not be a d*mn brat because she could look up one day and have neither parent. That I would shave YEARS off my life, even if I died the next day, to have my parents hug me once more. I told her to grow the hell up and be kind to her parents.

They left and my boss chewed me out. She said if they complained, I was toast. I lived each day wondering if I’d get fired. 2 weeks later, her dad came in because he saw me through the window. He thanked me. She started studying, helping around the house and was looking for a part-time job. She grew up and started treating them with respect. She didn’t call them names anymore and apologized for being a brat. I didn’t lose my job, but it was d*mn close.” SnarksNGrumpkins

26. I Punched Him For Threatening Me

“I was working at Blockbuster when I was 17 and in high school. A middle-aged guy came in and instead of using the drop slot to return his movie, he casually tossed it across the counter and it hit a register hard enough to pop the case open. The people working the resisters, myself included, kept an eye on him because our store was a hot spot for kids to come in without adult supervision to mess things up.

He chose a few movies, and walked up to the front of my line and waited for me to help him. I got his information up on the screen and let him know we couldn’t rent the movies he wanted unless he paid his late fee of $6. He flew off the handle, reached over the counter, grabbed my shirt and threatened to have me fired. I punched him in the face trying to protect myself and chased him out into the parking lot.

When I came back in my manager took me into the back room, let me clean myself up and told me they had a zero-tolerance policy for altercations in the store and fired me. On my way out, there were customers that actually shook my hand and told me they would’ve done the same thing. That job was sh*t anyway, so I was glad to be gone from there.” Edge80

25. She Tried To Put Her Dog Down For Having Diarrhea

“Lost my position at a vet clinic. The story goes like this: A woman brought in her 5-year-old dog that had diarrhea for the past week, and was untreated for it. She was tired of the dog messing in the house. So instead of having the dog treated for the condition, she decided she would rather just have the dog put down. I proceeded to call her a dumb b*tch while explaining to her the responsibilities that are involved when you decide you want to have a pet. I was fired. I never looked back” oonicitta

“I used to cut hair. I was cutting a lady’s hair when the child of lady waiting started running around the shop. I told the child several times to go sit with her mother and asked her mother to please keep her child seated next to her. Well, in the middle of cutting around my client’s ear, the child ran into my work area, ran into me and almost caused me to cut my client. I looked at the child and firmly said, ‘You need to go sit down with your mother now.’

Well, her mom didn’t like that and came running back to me and yelled, ‘Don’t tell my child what to do, I’m her parent.’ I responded with, ‘Then act like it.’ She glared at me, grabbed her child and stormed out. Everyone in the shop was relieved the child had left. A few days later, the owner came and tried to fire me for it, but luckily there were enough other stylists and clients that came to my defense about the danger of the situation, and I only got a write-up.” IAmWood13

23. She Complained About The Donated Clothes In Our Charity Shop

“A woman came into a charity shop and complained about every single item loudly to the ten or so customers in there. Along the lines of, ‘This is all sh*t. Who pays for this?’ like we’re some boutique with clothes from the back of a van.

She clearly didn’t understand how rarely new clothes (still tagged etc) are donated. Then she got in my face about it. I was so angry with her for chasing away the people that came in that I lost my cool. There was nobody left except her since she’d ranted them into leaving. I told her to get out and I ‘didn’t give a sh*t’ about the clothes or her opinions. She screams her way out of the shop broadcasting it to everyone on the street.

She came back once the manager was off their break and complained again, so I lost my job fairly soon after. I can’t blame them, I’d have done the same.” TwentySixLetters

22. They Wanted Their Potatoes Mashed… And They Definitely Got Them

“Obligatory not me but my mother’s previous coworker.

She worked at a burger joint restaurant and on a busy night, this one table ordered mashed potatoes. The server tells them that mashed potatoes aren’t on the menu but they have baked potatoes. They keep on insisting that they want mashed potatoes, but eventually, they seem to agree that a baked potato is fine. So when the order comes out, so does the baked potato that they ordered. He puts it down on the table and the customers go, ‘We wanted mashed potatoes!’

The server has had enough at this point and goes, ‘Mashed?! You want them mashed?!?’ He raised his fist and smashed it down on the baked potato, giving the customer exactly what they asked for, mashed potatoes. The management, however, did not find this dedication to the customer very professional and let him go.” Aviator506

21. I Poured Tea On His Lap

The last sentence is the best part of the story.

“I was the only waiter at a greasy spoon and had several tables. This young teenage boy was doing nothing but drinking tea. He would down the tea then start yelling for more while I was still working with other tables who were actually ordering food. This happened 3 or 4 times and he was being quite obnoxious.

On the fourth trip back to the table with his tea, I very carefully tipped the fully filled glass of tea into his lap. I say carefully because I wanted to make it look like an accident. He stood up screaming at me refused to pay for the tea and left the restaurant.

20. I Got Him To Stop Shoplifting

“I’ve been working the closing/night shift at a convenience store for about 6 months while I go to school and it’s great.

I’m the only person there, most customers are either regulars or intoxicated, and I can kick people the f*ck out for whatever reason.

A kid had been stealing from the store for a while. He brings in his bike, walks around, asks for price checks, puts things back, changes his mind, etc. and just generally is doing way too much trying to shoplift. For the most part, I didn’t care to confront him, but he just kept giving me more work to do so I quickly developed a visceral hatred for this kid. So I picked up little bits of information about his life. Like his name. Where he went to high school. Where he worked.

He comes in and tells me it’s his birthday (whoop-de-doo) and starts on his bullsh*t. I let him go through his routine and then he comes to pay for his one moon pie after being in the store stealing for 10 minutes. He starts trying to talk to me, and straight-faced as possible, I interrupt him and recite his name, where he works, and where he goes to school. I tell him he’s been p*ssing me off for too f*cking long and we have cameras. Stop treating me like an idiot. I tell him I’ll get him fired from both of his jobs, send the officer I know to his school, and if he’s lucky, maybe I’ll f*ck his mom too.

19. They Made Fun Of My Speech Impediment

“I have a speech impediment and back when I worked at Starbucks, this young African American kid would come in every day after school and order a caramel frappuccino.

Every time I told him it would be ‘$3.50,’ he would laugh uproariously and ask me to say it again. After a few weeks of this, he’d start bringing in his buddies as well. Each one would order the exact same drink then ask me to keep repeating the price for them again and again.

After a few months, I broke down. ‘You boys should know how much the drink is by now!’

My manager overheard and claimed I was being racist by calling them ‘you boys,’ even though they were all middle school age! Anyways, I still see the kids around town and they always shout at me: ‘How much are those caramel fraps again?'” laterdude

18. She Took A Bite Out Of His Burrito

“Not me, but someone I used to work with.

I work at a restaurant that makes burritos. A customer comes in and the manager says she’ll take care of him. As it turns out, she had dated the guy and they had issues or whatever and had a messy breakup. This is the first time they’ve seen each other since.

Dude just showed up at her job. So he starts talking to her as she takes him through the line, and he’s saying things like, ‘I still consider you a friend even after all this time’ and other mushy bullsh*t. She’s obviously not interested. Doesn’t say a word until she gets to the end of the line.

She rolls the burrito and takes a giant bite out of it before wrapping it in foil.

He kind of stares at her for a minute, dumbfounded. And then he asks, ‘Did you just take a bite out of my burrito?’

She says, ‘I mean, you said we were friends, right? So what’s the problem?’

17. I Confronted Them For Not Leaving Me A Tip

“Years ago I was waitressing. I gave this table of people really good service, was attentive to their needs and generally went above and beyond to be accommodating.

When I went to retrieve my tip, there wasn’t one. I was frustrated and had had enough of the bullsh*t one encounters in the restaurant business and I found the customers who had hurried outside, getting ready to get in their car. I confronted them and asked them, ‘Was there anything wrong with my service?’

They acted surprised and said, ‘Oh wow, we didn’t leave you a tip’ and proceeded to hand me like one percent of their tab. Well, you know the manager was watching. “I was working at a restaurant when my friend’s abuser/attacker walked in to show off his new girlfriend and torment her. She (obviously) fell to pieces and had to leave. My concern shifted to the poor girl he was with.

I shouted after them. ‘We don’t serve abuser/attackers here, so don’t come back.’ The girl turned around to look at me, and I gave her an honest-to-God ‘I’m serious’ stare. 15. I Ruined Her Wedding Dress On Her Big Day

How could a bride be in such a bad mood on her wedding day?!

“Before I start this, I have to say I have a very bad temper and I am trying to work on it. I worked at a 5-star hotel and restaurant as a bartender. We often had wedding dinners, ceremonies, etc.

This one time, we hosted a wedding dinner and I have to say it was amazing. I was on the bad end of a 12-hour shift and still had 2 hours to go. I got an order for 4 drinks for the bride and 3 bridesmaids, so I made the drinks and took them through the dancing p*ssheads to the bride and her friends, as I arrived, however, the bride looked at me and sharply said, ‘You’ve given us the wrong drinks. Are you stupid?’ I explained calmly, ‘These are the drinks that were on my order ticket, I apologize. If you tell me what you would like, I’ll make you some more drinks on the house.’

Raising her voice she said, ‘I don’t f*cking want a drink in a minute. I want one now! You’re the worst bartender I’ve ever had the misfortune of coming across! Kill yourself!’… Now, I didn’t appreciate that. A dear friend of mine had killed himself 3 months prior. I walked away quietly with a smile. I got two big pitchers, filled them up with the reddest liquids I could find (red wine, black currant juice, cranberry juice, etc.), calmly took them to her and poured them all over her wedding dress, looked her in the eyes and called her a c*nt. 14. She Wouldn’t Stop Changing Her Order

“This happened to a friend of mine. He worked at a McDonalds as a cashier.

It was getting busy and this older teen (17-19) is next in line. Well, she thought that it was a perfect time to actually figure out what she wanted to eat. She hummed and hawed, asking pretty stupid questions (the kind of questions a person would ask if they’re not that hungry). It was a little annoying at first, but it kept getting worse. For about 20 minutes, she was making an order and then going back on it because she wanted to change it at the last minute.

FINALLY, she decides after all that (30 minutes have passed), that she just wants a medium chocolate milkshake. He goes to make it. Just as he was handing it to her, she was like, ‘Oh, sorry. Can you make it vanilla instead?’ Well, something snapped in his mind as he took her drink, dumped it on her, whipped off his apron, jumped over the counter and yelled, ‘I QUIT!’ and stormed out of McDonald’s.” Scarletpath

13. I Shoved The Tube Of Frosting In Her Face

“I worked at Cinnabon. I was 16. I was a too-nice, insecure people-pleaser. Then my boyfriend broke up with me right before my shift at work.

So, this b*tchy soccer-mom, with frosted-tip hair comes up to my counter and orders a Cinnamon bun. I serve one up on a plate, but she starts freaking out at me. Some frosting had slid off her bun and back into the pan during the transfer. She MUST have all her frosting! I am a terrible servant! I am trying to cheat her out of what she deserves!!! OOOOOHHHHH THE UNFAIRNESS OF IT ALL!!!

I snapped.  I grabbed the frosting tube from the baking counter right behind me. I leaned waaaaaay over the register. I brandished that frosting in her face and shouted, ‘Here. Open wide! I’ll just squeeze the frosting right in! Take as much as you want! At least you’ll shut the hell up!!!’

12. He Got A Face Full Of Pizza

“Worked for a pizza joint and a guy complained about the pizza after eating half of it. Then proceeded to b*tch the entire time that I started working on a new one for him, which wasn’t long because I snapped and picked up his unbaked, half done pizza walked past my manager (to whom I looked at and said ‘sorry’), and proceeded to throw the pizza in his face and told him to go f*ck himself. The manager looked at me and says, ‘You know I have to fire you now, right?’ I just nodded and told him it was worth it. The a**hole deserved it.” mr_lairofabee

“I used to work at a pizza place in a small town when I was a teenager. One night I took a phone order from some idiot woman. It went like this:

Me: ‘Thank you for calling “pizza place,” may I take your order?”
IW: ‘Yes, I’d like a large pizza. Half pepperoni, half sausage, and half black olives.’
Me: ‘Ok, did you want the toppings combined or separated?’
IW: ‘No, I want half pepperoni, half sausage, and half black olives.’
Me: ‘Ok so you want 1/3 pepperoni, 1/3 sausage, and 1/3 black olives?’
IW: ‘No! I want HALF PEPPERONI, HALF SAUSAGE, and HALF BLACK OLIVES!’

Me: ‘I understand the toppings that you want, but I’m not understanding how you want us to put the toppings on your pizza. Do you want them separated by thirds? Combined together? Or do you mean put half the amount that we usually put on?’
IW: ‘What’s so hard to understand?! I WANT…HALF…PEPPERONI…HALF…SAUSAGE…AND HALF…BLACK OLIVES!!!!!’

I got fired on the spot. It was easier for the manager to just hire another person than it was to lose a customer in a small town.

10. I Had A Fun Way Of Calling Them An Idiot

“Working at Radio Shack some 20 years ago, we would need to put reason codes for returns.

When a customer would return something because they could not figure out how to use it I would insert reason code, ‘ID-10-T.’ After a year of doing this, a customer reported it to corporate. “My very first job in high school, I worked at a taco place. We had just been given this huge lecture about how we have to charge 5 cents for two hot sauce packets past the first one per item. So I stuck to that. This lady insisted I give her more in the drive-thru and would not pay for it. So I said no. Then she came in and yelled at me, and since I was a shift manager, I had no backup.

I told her she could have as much sauce from the bar for free, there were 1 oz cups and lids, and it was the same sauce. She insisted that it wasn’t the same. Eventually, I grabbed a handful of sauce and slid it across the counter at her, and said, ‘Fine. Here is your sauce.’ Some fell on the floor. Turns out she was the owner’s son’s friend’s mom. 8. I Refused To Serve Them Alcohol Because They Were Pregnant

“I worked in a wine bar and had a group of four very pregnant women come in, to celebrate ‘their last month of being pregnant’ (i.e. their condition was unambiguous). I declined to serve them, citing their condition. They proceeded to pull up all sorts of new-age pseudo-science, including crystals, the position of the moon, and auras. I agreed with them, that studies indicate a modest amount of alcohol might not be bad, but I still didn’t feel comfortable serving them.

7. I Told Her To Eat A Salad

“I used to work in a pizza shop. I have a decent length beard that I keep well maintained and was within company standards.

This morbidly obese woman comes in to order, is extremely rude, talking down about anyone and anything she can think of. Meanwhile, the pizza she’s ordering for herself could feed 4 people.

As I’m finalizing her order, she sneers at me and says, ‘You should be wearing a beard net.’

My immediate response was, ‘You should be eating a salad.’

6. She Treated Us Like Servants

“About 8 years back, I worked part-time at a Macy’s. Now, before I get into this, understand that I’m no racist, but I will say whatever I need to, in order to p*ss someone off. Anyway, my buddy who got me the job was also a part-time employee. He’s a very respectful Sri Lankan fellow.

This black lady and her husband get to the register and she starts complaining about something. My friend was trying to help her out, but she was being a total b*tch about it. The husband just stood there, like he was embarrassed by his wife.

So, this lady eventually tells my friend to go and get whatever the hell she wanted and made the comment, ‘You’re here to serve us, customers.’ So, I stepped in and kindly explained, ‘One, we are not here to serve you. We are here to assist you in ensuring you have an outstanding experience.’ The ‘Outstanding’ was a Macy’s thing, back then. 5. I Put Nails Under His Tires

Imagine how awful it’d be if he put the nails under the wrong vehicles’ tires.

“This guy would come into Home Depot once or twice a week in the mornings around 7:15. You could tell he always had a stick up his butt.

We were working on the back wall hanging new signs and removing old ones. The entire back wall was sectioned off so no one would get hurt. This guy comes in one day and just decides to undo the chain himself that blocked the back wall and go back. I immediately got off the ladder and said, ‘Hey, can I help you with anything? We can’t have you back here when we are working.’

He got extremely rude towards me and told me that he knows exactly where he is going, doesn’t need help, and that sh*t needs to not be in the way. I told him that it was for his protection and ours and that I would gladly stop working to let him get what he needed. He then proceeded to yell at me saying the customer is always right and he doesn’t need to wait for anything and that I needed to work around him. We exchanged a few more words back and forth until I realized I wouldn’t win the argument.

4. I Assaulted Him For Punching My Friend

“Customer punched my friend in the face, a poor girl half his size. He was basically winding up for a second smack when I came running over. I grabbed him and literally threw him into the shelves and then told him to get out. He came back with the cops to try and arrest me for an unprovoked attack, but the security guard showed the cops the footage and they agreed I acted in the right. 90% of the store was happy with what I did, but a single assistant manager fired me for assaulting a customer. 3. She Insulted Me Over A Cup Of Ranch Dressing

“Years ago I worked at a pizza chain call center. This woman did not receive her ranch dressing with her pizza when we delivered it.

So she calls and IMMEDIATELY starts berating me about how f*cking stupid we are for forgetting the ranch. Complaints were dealt with by management for the most part but before I could transfer this call. I’ll admit, I got triggered. She starts insulting me personally for where I work and how bad I am at it, despite the fact that the lack of ranch dressing was the restaurant’s fault, not mine nor the agent who placed her order.

I was already on probation for ‘yelling’ and hanging up several times on a drunk caller who couldn’t focus on placing a 30-second order and somehow kept getting me out of the ten people that were working at the call center that night. So when I told this ranch-less b*tch that I have no reason to want to help her after she personally insults me and my co-workers, she tells my manager that I was being rude, and because I was already on probation for some other bullsh*t, I was fired later that day. No warning, just sign out and never come back.

2. I Restrained Him For Physically Abusing A Woman

“I restrained a guy when he was physically attacking his girlfriend or wife or whatever. I was a small guy, but he was a bit bigger. So I ended up having to sweep his legs and throw him to the ground. The grocery store I worked at ended up firing me because we were not supposed to physically interfere with customers no matter what. The whole thing was caught on the store camera and they reviewed the footage. It was a summer job when I was still in high school, so I could care less.” sackofmangoes

She worked as an operator for 999 sometime in the ’90s. They got abusive phone

calls quite regularly and she usually handled them well. However, on this one occasion the guy over the phone called her a ‘disgusting Scottish b*tch’ among some other insults and after hanging up on her, she phoned him back and started calling him an English c*nt. Little did she know, this whole call was recorded and she was called into the manager’s office the next day and made to listen to a recording of the call. She was sacked but still finds it hilarious to this day.” deargd

Ouch! While some of these employees got what they deserved for acting unprofessionally at work, I have to admit, some of them shouldn’t have lost their jobs. Dealing with bad customers can be easy to some degree, but in other cases (like in Story 9), it seems like no matter what you do, you can’t make both the customer and your employer happy at the same time.
