Alert Gas Attendant Helps Woman Escape From Kidnapping

Meet Rachel

Rachel Craddock is a Florida gas station clerk who witnessed a disturbing event at the gas station she works at.

Not A Typical Day

Rachel was just going about her day, working on her post at the cash register when she noticed something weird going on by one of the pumps.

Odd-Looking Woman

Rachel tried to take a more focused look and saw an injured woman with extension cords hanging from her ankles and wrists running from one of the cars parked by the pumps.

A Man Tried To Get Her

Just a few moments later, Rachel saw a man who was waiting in the convenience store go running back out to the car to try and stop the woman from escaping.

She Asked For Help

The woman ran up to the gas station’s private door and started knocking on it and begging for help. She said that the man was going to hurt her if she couldn’t escape from him.

Rachel Did What She Could

Rachel immediately opened the door, pulled the woman inside, and then locked the door again, making sure that the kidnapper couldn’t get inside to get the woman.

A Kidnapping Victim

Once the woman was already safe with her, Rachel took a better look at her, and she saw that her hair was matted with blood and she had a gash on her head.

He Fled

Rachel called 911 as the kidnapper named Cody Jackson fled away in his vehicle. An ambulance arrived and brought the woman to the hospital for treatment.
