Animals have a special way of being effortlessly lovable and adorable. Some of them even know how to appreciate and give back the love we give them.

Casey Anderson from Montana has always had a passion for wild animals ever since he was a kid.

Learning About The Animals

Since he grew up surrounded by the Montana wilderness, it was easy for him to learn about the animals that live nearby.

Pursuing His Passion

When he got into college, he took a major in Biology and got more engaged in the “wilder” side of the animal world.

His Adventures

He’s had some exciting encounters with different species like wolverines and river otters and even got to run a team of sled dogs.

A Small Price To Pay

Of course, there were times when he would get on the bad side of the wild animals like that one time when he got thrashed by a mountain lion, but Casey believes that “if it’s your passion, you’ll lick your wounds, and turn the corner.”

Meeting Brutus

One day Casey found a grizzly bear cub next to his lifeless mother in the Alaskan mountains. He rescued the cub and took care of him.

He Got Bigger

Brutus grew big enough that he couldn’t stay in Casey’s home anymore, so the animal-lover established the Montana Grizzly Encounter Rescue and Educational Sanctuary where the two of them work together to educate people about grizzly bears.
