Skilled Vet Treats Injured Dog Dumped Outside His Clinic

When we are faced with a surprising event, it can be challenging to think of ways to respond appropriately to it, but this is not the case for Dr. Dave who’s always prepared to help animals in need.

Meet Dr. Dave

Dr. Dave is a skilled veterinarian at Vet Ranch’s hospital who has taken care of a lot of rescue animals.

A Caged Visitor

One day, a dog named Rosie was dropped off in a cage in the rain outside of Vet Ranch’s hospital.

She Is Wounded

Rosie came with a note that said she had a terrible injury to her leg after being hit by a car. Apparently, her owner decided to just dump her instead of keeping her and taking care of her.

The Right Place

Luckily, she was dropped off at Dr. Dave’s clinic. The good doctor knew exactly what to do with the poor dog.

His Unique First-Aid Tool

Dr. Dave started working on Rosie’s open wound by applying a unique “ingredient” to it – sugar.

Waiting For It To Settle

The vet wrapped Rosie’s injured leg after applying some sugar to it. The sugar is supposed to draw the swelling out before having the wound sewn.

Like Magic

Sugar worked like magic on Rosie’s injury. After a few days, Dr. Dave unwrapped her leg and saw that the wound was already looking better.

10x Better

After some sugar and a series of antibiotics and treatment, Rosie is now all healed up and can run and play under the sun.
