Asia saw her then-husband lose a limb due to diabetes a few years back. That’s when she realized that if she wanted to be around her family for a long time, she had to lose a significant amount of weight.

With just the right amount of dedication, Asia soon managed to lose 200 lbs and decided to celebrate this achievement by participating in the Rodes City Run in Louisville.

She Forgot Something

Asia trained for months for the marathon, but on the actual day, she forgot to have breakfast.

During that time, Asia was also recovering from pneumonia, so she was not in perfect shape for the marathon, but she still wanted to do it.

At around the 5th mile, Asia started to feel dizzy. She was also having trouble breathing but the paramedics that attended to her could not convince her to stop running.
