Do you recall a moment in your life in which you experienced something that you just couldn’t explain? A bizarre moment that is still stuck in your head today, but you don’t have the words to describe how that experience could possibly make sense? Those moments, my friends, are some of the weirdest moments you’ve come across in life.
Weird things happen all the time. You may come across a green orange at the grocery store; an odd encounter with a stranger at the bus stop may also seem “weird.” But, these examples are things that happen every day and ones that aren’t ingrained in your memory forever.
With that being said, there are a ton of people who have some unbelievable stories to share. Some people have seen real-life monsters with gigantic eyeballs; others have experienced another life and remember bits and pieces from it; then you have those who have lived out a movie scene in which a green light comes ripping through the ground. There are also those who found mysterious DVDs at the store and brought them home, and one guy even claims he was floating (almost hard to believe, but it’s TRUE!). Yes, THAT’S the weird that I’m talking about. Don’t believe me? Well, there are more stories where those came from.

1. There once was a family that looked identical to mine
My family and I once bumped into another family that looked EXACTLY like mine — their sense of style, hair and everything was identical to us. This was in 1978. In 2015, I saw the SAME family again (just the mom and her kids this time) at my dad’s funeral. Weird thing is that they hadn’t aged at all, and they weren’t a part of the funeral either. 2. A man told me a cat has 6 legs

I was depressed at the age of 17. One day, I went into the kitchen, got a knife, and was going to take my own life. I was wondering what to do next when the lights went out. I messaged my mom, who was in a separate room, asking her if the lights really went out or if I was just imagining things. She said the power never went out in her room and she was watching TV. He comes up to the cashier, violently throws a pack of skittles on the counter and yells, “You can keep this!” The cashier turns to the man and yells, “Wait!” But, he had already left. 28. I saw monsters with giant eyeballs
I was 7 years old when my mom and I drove deep into the country to visit my aunt. She owned a bar; I was only allowed inside because we went in the morning and her bar was closed. We left just she opened for business that evening. While on our drive home, we came upon a stalled car so we stopped to see if the driver needed any help. At first, it didn’t seem like anyone was even sitting inside. But as we approached the vehicle, we could see two people facing the other way.
They were looking towards the mountains, their backs facing us. My mom proceeded to ask if they were ok and if they needed any help. Right after that moment, I knew we would regret this. Both of the people turned around and their eyeballs were the size of fists! It was like they walked right out of a nightmare — huge eye sockets and eyeballs staring straight into my soul.
My mom stepped on the gas and we instantly sped off!
I remember asking her about this not too long ago and she actually cried, saying that she remembers it all too clear.
It isn’t something that I’ll ever forget, they were like monsters.
29. My child was seeing ghosts, I wasn’t

33. My flight left without me but they never even made a boarding call
I had been traveling for work and was on my way back home. I got to the airport a couple of hours early so was just hanging around after I checked in and got my boarding pass. It’s pretty quiet around the boarding area of my flight, so I grab a seat and start playing Candy Crush. At this point, I had over an hour to go before boarding.
I hear other boarding announcements and watch people come and go. I look at my watch and think, ok the flight is in 45 minutes, so the boarding should happen any time now. But, nothing is happening. I look around, the lounge is quiet while the flight attendants are busy at their desk. At this point, I’m confused.
I walk up to the attendants and ask when my flight will start boarding and they look back at me, equally confused. They told me it happened 15 minutes ago and that the plane is just leaving the gate now. I ask if there was a gate change and they said no, my flight boarded from this gate. 34. Turned out the gas station I’d been going to for years didn’t even exist
Every morning, before work, I stopped at the same gas station for coffee and cigarettes. One day I went in around 4 am, picked up everything I needed, and walked up to the cashier. The one thing that was weird about this gas station was that there was a different employee almost every week.
Anyway, I get to the counter and see that the man on the other side is just staring at me. A few seconds pass in silence and it’s awkward. I then tell him that I also need cigarettes. As I finish speaking, the man backs away from the counter and he has his private part in his hand and it’s gushing blood. I got scared and ran out of the gas station. I called the ambulance to let them know what was happening and went to work.
I kept thinking about the guy all day, hoping he was alright, so on my way back from work I decided to stop by at the gas station and see that everything was ok. But, it turned out that the gas station I was JUST at that morning wasn’t even there. There was no sign of any gas station being there. That side of the highway was full of trees.
I went home and called my friends and family, asking them if they knew of that particular gas station and none of them remembered it. I felt crazy and never brought this up with anyone ever again. – BigVeinyTriumphant
35. My dog passed about a year ago, but I thought I heard him walking around
I was in bed one night when I heard my dog walking around outside. I told him to stop it, in a loud voice, and the noises stopped. Then, I realized that my dog died a year ago. I ran outside to see who was making the noises, but no one was there… – sheftyhat
36. My aunt knew there was a ghost in my cousin’s room
I was sleeping over at my cousin’s house when they told me that the 9-year-old prefers to sleep with his older sister; he didn’t like sleeping alone. I found this odd but didn’t bother to say anything.
Later that night, I was tossing and turning in bed, struggling to go to sleep, when I saw a figure standing right by the door. I leaped forward in an effort to catch him/her but my foot got stuck somewhere between the sheets and I fell off the bed. When I looked up, the room door was open and no one was there anymore. I freaked out and went straight to my aunt’s room to tell her what happened. She took me to the kitchen, poured me a glass of liquor, and here’s the conversation that followed:
“Listen, no one was in the room.”
“What?”
“I know what you saw because I’ve seen it too. But there was no one there.”
“Then what did I see, a hallucination?”

41. This one man lived in the middle of nowhere, literally
A few years ago my wife and I were driving east on Washington Highway 20. This is a narrow twisting mountain road that crosses the North Cascades and is closed in winter because of snow with no towns for many miles.
About 20 miles east of Newhalem (the last permanent thing for the next 70 miles, not even a town really) we pass a homeless person pushing a shopping cart up the pass going east.
We came back on that same road a few days later and there was shopping cart person a few miles more east, pushing that cart. A few weeks later, the same person had managed to cross Washington Pass and was now going downhill, but still a good 20 miles from anything at all.
Now the nearest town that might conceivably even have a store with shopping carts was 70 miles to the west of where we first saw this person.
This left so many unanswered questions. Where did this person come from? Where did the cart come from? How long were they traveling? Where were they going? How did they eat? How the heck did a shopping cart survive being pushed for weeks and possibly months on a mountain highway? So many questions. – pehvbot
