Man Uses A Drone To Create A Halloween Decoration To Scare The Entire Neighborhood

That time is finally upon us! Halloween has to be one of my most favorite times of the year, after Christmas, of course. It brings back wonderful memories of being young and going trick-or-treating. I’ve always loved dressing up in my costume and going door-to-door for candy with my siblings.

Now that I’m older, I know I can’t go trick-or-treating, but nothing is stopping me from decorating my front yard and making things a little spooky. Right? Although I buy a majority of my decor, I am always open to fun DIY projects to add to my list of Halloween decorations.

There’s a tiny part of me that thinks that this amazingly clever Halloween decoration might be a bad idea. You see, someone with a wonderful sense of Halloween spirit has taken a spooky ghost decoration and draped it over a remote-controlled drone. Then, when he flies the drone around the neighborhood, it looks like there is an actual ghost hovering around.

The idea is positively genius, and I only wish that I had thought of it first. But, it could have some drawbacks. For instance, I’m not sure what the laws on flying ghost drones are, but there are very specific regulations on drones. There is the possibility that this brilliant invention is entirely illegal. Also, while scaring people is fun, it does appear that this drone ghost could potentially scare someone who doesn’t enjoy being scared, which is unfortunate. As he flies it on the road, however, terrifying a driver could have some terrible consequences.

Issues aside, the Halloween fan in me thinks that this is the best possible use of a drone that I have ever witnessed. You see, while I have an appreciation for most holidays, Halloween is by far my favorite. With Halloween being today, I have spent most of the month researching the best-haunted houses and possibly haunted places near my hometown to visit. I even visited the historical ghost walk.

Today I donned my carefully planned costume to answer the door and hand out candy on my favorite night of the year. It’s a wrap for Halloween this year, but if I had it my way, my decorations would stay up all year round. I don’t have a drone or the ability to fly one, but with any luck, one of my neighbors will see this video and my neighborhood will have the joy of this cool flying ghost.
