Toddler Refuses To Speak With Granny For Saying “Bad Words”

What’s the best thing about toddlers? Besides their quirky attitude, fun-loving demeanor and zest for life? Their adorable innocence! And even though they can be slightly mischievous at times, like being sneaky about having the last cookie or not wanting to go to bed at night, their motives are always pure and come from a good place.

And with that, of course, comes a bit of sassiness which, let’s face it, we all can appreciate at the best of times! And that is why the video below is exactly what you need to brighten up your day and put a smile on your face.

The clip shows a young girl named Josie who has no problem telling the camera (and her family members) that she is seriously cross at her beloved grandma. Why? The reason will seriously melt your heart!

Josie first exclaims that she will talk with everyone besides “Mimi,” who has apparently said a bad word. As the woman holding the camera persists to ask Josie, with complete concern in her voice, what word grandma has said, Josie admits that the bad word was, “poop.” With that, the woman has a little giggle and tells Josie that “poop” is not a bad word. Does Josie agree? Absolutely not!

In fact, Josie continues to say that she will go home, have a rest, and then continue to ignore her grandmother, as she does not tolerate bad language! Well isn’t that just the cutest thing? Ahh, to be young! Don’t you simply miss the days of being that sweet?

One of my favorite memories of a baby cousin of mine has to be when she thought the word “jail” was a bad word. It was written in her book to review for spelling for school and she comes home absolutely distraught and upset with her teacher for assigning the word to study. It was a hilarious conversation that eventually followed with us having to convince her that “jail” isn’t a bad word. She ended up studying it for the spelling test, but I don’t know how convinced she was!
