Woman Waves At A Bear From Her Car And The Bear Waves Back

The day to day grind of work, home, and family can leave little time for rest and relaxation. But, it’s important to step away for a little while, even if it’s just for a day or even an afternoon. A change of scenery can do wonders for your attitude and outlook in life in general. Sometimes a drive in the country can do the trick. You strike out with the perfect two-lane road in mind. Maybe you’ll pass through fields of crops, or perhaps the road will be flanked by trees.

On your little trip, you might get a glimpse at some of the local wildlife. You could see squirrels and birds, and if you happen to pass through farm country, you could view domestic animals like cows, sheep, and goats. In some parts of the country, you may even see a bear. If this video is accurate, if you wave to that bear, it could wave back!

This adorable exchange probably won’t happen in real life, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want it to. I can’t get over this friendly bear and how it has adapted to human-like communication. As cute as this particular bear is, approaching a wild bear in any situation could be very dangerous. Bears are large and can be territorial and it is always best to keep your distance.

This special bear lives at the Olympic Game Farm in Washington and is used to human visitors. The Olympic Game Farm used to be the site of filming for Walt Disney Studios until they began to move away from animal films. Today it houses more than 200 animals, some of who have been used in films, but mostly it is a refuge for captive-bred animals in need of a safe home.

Watch the bear wave at the human in the video below and to spread some smiles, don’t forget to like and share this post!
