You may not have heard of Bretagne but she is the last known living canine soul that helped to save lives at Ground Zero during 9/11. Bretagne and her human, Denise Corliss, were members of Texas Task Force 1, a team that searched for and rescued people that were trapped in the rubble at the World Trade Center. Bretagne also went the extra mile and became a therapy dog for fellow rescue workers.
