ETJ. If she wants to be a backseat driver then she needs to put the phone down and navigate. If she doesn't, she needs to shut up and let the GPS guide you. And YTJ for blaming her for wrecking the car that she wasn't even driving
NOTJ. Your co-workers are keeping it lighthearted and keeping down stress. But... banging on the walls? Why? What does that have to do with jump-scares? As long as they're not doing it to you or anyone else not wanting to play, let them. Life is way too short to be miserable at a job that will replace you in two weeks or less. The fact that they were obnoxious and loud enough that it made you believe it was a confrontation is inconsiderate. Laying into them was warranted because come on...! Asking them to tone it down would be a happy medium. Plus, it is also a good idea, if your workplace doesn't already do this, to require a panic word/phrase to be shouted in emergency situations. That way everyone knows it is not a drill or hoax or some folks being goofy. They can still burn off that stress and you can be assured that you'll know when something is truly wrong.
NTA. I'm all about keeping the environment at the typical volume it was pre-baby. Noises like the vacuum, washer/dryer, doorbell, dog barking, etc. are part of life and if the baby gets used to those sounds early they'll sleep through them. That way no one has to tiptoe around or worry that any little noise will wake the baby. But... being obnoxiously loud is just plain rude and inconsiderate, baby or no baby. Constantly waking a brand new mother up is low and refusing to stop is petty. I say every time he wakes up you and the baby pluck that baby into his arms and say, "you woke her up, now deal with it" and go back to bed. He'll learn fast to sort his priorities.
The gf gives off evil/jealous stepmother vibes. Run away and save your daughter the years of therapy she'll need if you continue to see this woman.
