I talked myself of doing a lot of things I wanted to do because I believe karma finds you sooner or later.
Your parents went along with this? Your parents are as bad as your sister. I wouldn't have anything to do woth the whole family.
Unfortunately we don't always get recognized for the good we do. Yes, the girl at least should have thanked you but you know in your heart what you did and that is what matters the most.
