YTJ He's open about his disinterest. It's his right, not your right to guilt him into doing something he obviously would be uncomfortable with.
You're not a jerk but she didn't deserve for you to tip her and she would know why you didn't. You or your husband should go back and confront her - maybe even take her to small claims court. That's a lot of money for her to bail on you.
You need to organize your life and work better. It's your problem, not everyone elses.
