I had something like that happen. Guy I was with was cheating on me with just about anyone. One of my college roommates who gave him an STD, a girl at Subway that was and Lord knows how many others. The Subway girl thought it was hilarious she "stole" him from me. I let her have him and left. Less than a year later, she messages me and tells me he is horrible to her. She begs a mutual friend to talk to me about it too and the mutual friend does. I laugh and say "sucks to be you." And smirk every time I see her still. Karma!
I had a similar problem. I lived with a couple and they ALWAYS made TONS of dishes. For a couple weeks or so I just grit my teeth and did them then one day I had a light bulb moment. Why am I washing the dirty dishes when they're not mine? So I quit washing their dirty dishes and only washed mine. I also took all of my utensils and plates, cups, bowls and put them in the cupboard with all of my food. They tried to complain that I wasn't doing my share but I said I washed my dishes and cleaned up my messes. I'm not their maid, I'm not there to clean up after 2 grown adults. Eventually I put in my 30 days notice and one day came back to get some more things, and they had moved stuff into my room that I had paid that month for. I raised hell since they had just thrown my stuff on the floor and trashed my stuff. I was happy to leave.. They also let several people stay rent free at the house for months and we're offended when I said those people needed to start paying rent and utilities. So glad I got out of there.
No worries dude. I would pour water into my Mum's boyfriends (now stepdad) shoes when I was younger cuz I didn't like him. Granted they dried and he didn't have to throw them out but I get it.
