Yes you are the AH. You should have spelled it out for both kids and set a limit. You didn't give a limit which in its self limits the children to their own expectations. Your grandson obviously didn't want to be too greedy so he asked for one thing. Your grand daughter was either REALLY greedy and used to being spoiled... OR the list she gave you was some suggestions and she never expected to get all of it... but you decided to spill her. Its a completely unfair field. You should have set a clear limit.

What gives you more rights to the home then him? Why do you get to kick him out?? Is the home in your name? If his name is on any of the paperwork i hope is smart enough not to move out.
And of she had a part time job to pay for stuff she wants... who is paying for child care?? Him? If that's the case why doesn't he just pay her to watch the kids?? She has the kids all day everyday so he doesnt have to put out the money for child care.
