My answer would have been a simple "Nope", and just don't answer the door when she comes calling. Problem solved.
For all you people screeching about 911 being an emergency line and there are other "non emergency" options out there...you have never had, on orders of a physician, had to get someone to a hospital in a hurry, have you? And you have never had to do battle with some entitled A-hole's car to get the person in a car, have you? Well, I have, and denting and bashing would be the LEAST of their worries! My car is dented up enough that I would be PUSHING the offending car out of the way if they were parked near me like that, and I would look them in the eye and tell them, "SAY SOMETHING, I DARE YOU!"
One very simple solution for OP would be to elope, go NC on the entire family, ESPECIALLY MOM AND SIS, then move away from it all and have her own intimate ceremony with just close friends. You can bet that once mom and sis figure out a way to insert themselves into this, they will! These people are obviously entitled enablers and will stop at nothing to ruin OP's day just to be the center of attention. If OP's partner is not totally behind her on this now, he never will be and I, if I were OP, would seriously reconsider any kind of long term relationship with him, especially marriage. The two brothers were the smart ones in this story...they got out. That girl sounds not so much as "disabled" as she does an attention hog who will stop at nothing to make it all about her and mom is more than happy to help! I wish OP the best of luck...she's going to need it!
Just one more thing to add to the fire...OP is NOT a jerk. Her self absorbed husband's mouth wrote a check that his ass couldn't cash, and got his feelies hurt because OP took matters into her own hands...Too freaking bad! I would tell him to make his own breakfast going forward!
